The whole Derena thing does remind me of Chair in many ways. When one of them realises that they want to be in a relationship the other thinks they shouldn't be...right now it's Dan being all annoying so we're just going to have to assume they'll end up together like Chair.

For all five seasons, Gossip Girl storylines have ALWAYS hinted at Derena being endgame. At this point, it's the only thing that makes sense. The writers are most likely giving Chair fans a happy ending, I think us Derena fans deserve the same! I'm just hoping that most of us prefer this perfect couple :)

they wouldn’t keep bringing Derena up if they weren’t endgame. Both Derena and Chair had romantic moments in EVERY season… which should mean something.

I know! I'm just so paranoid about next season my mind is making things up, lol. Honestly, from my perception, I think Dan does still love Serena. If he hadn't found out about her trying to destroy Blair, I think they would have ended up together in this episode. Currently, he's under the impression that the girl he's in love with doesn't exist.

I think he definitely still has feelings for her. He never gave her an answer to her ILY and the look he gave her when she undressed herself was SO longing…

For Nate and Serena to happen out of the blue again in 11 episodes is too unbelievable, Dan will come back and fight for her in 9 or 10 of those episodes and Derena will be reunited :)

I'm really happy to hear you think that! I'm just worried that Serena is going to end up with Nate somehow. I hope Dan didn't do so much damage that it can't be repaired in the span of 11 episodes :(

dont worry about nate at all, its completely over, all she cares about is dan. i hope too dan didnt hurt her too much but i think he’ll realize it and work on her forgiveness hopefully

How much hope do you have for Dan and Serena to be endgame? That's all I want from next season!

Ikr ? That’s because Blair is the most selfish person ever. She hurt both Dan and Serena because she couldn’t realize what was always in front of her: being in love with chuck. It’s sad to have a friend like Blair
